Like his teammates, Johannes worked as a developer and architect for more than 15 years (at Provinzial Versicherung and DEVK) before meeting Benjamin and Dennis at codecentric. He also lectured the community as a speaker and an author. He participated in the Spring Boot Admin open-source project, which received 7,200 stars on GitHub and 25,000 monthly downloads. Johannes specializes in solving the trickiest problems, from low-level system stuff to software architecture. To recharge his batteries, he goes hiking in the woods.
